Montreal weddings - Cymbidium and calla lily wedding bouquet

Same bouquet but two different backrounds. Sebastien, one of my good friends who owns a photography business (http://www.saphoto.ca/) was kind enough to edit this pic allowing me to showcase this gorgeous, richly textured bridal bouquet. You be the judge. Which backround do you prefer?

  1. Lovely arrangement! I definitely prefer the dark background as it sets off the light colour of the flowers.

  2. Beautiful - I prefer the darker background because it makes the flowers pop.

For the second one, the light color unfortunately makes the flowers fade into the background..

PS: nice blog - it's a wealth of floral inspiration.

  3. The different backgrounds give two distinct looks to a single bouquet. That's why we professional florists all try to understand the contexts in which wedding flowers will be displayed; day vs night, by season, by color hue, etc... The variances make all the difference in how the flowers will be perceived.

But with either background, the bouquet is gorgeous! :)
